About Me
Helping you feel more at home with yourself and your partner
Finding a therapist is so hard. There are so many options and different ways to do therapy. I know from my own experience how frustrating it can feel when a therapist doesn’t fully understand what you’re trying to express. I want to make sure you never feel that way with me, and I’m here to listen and support you as best I can. My hope is this page will help you figure out if we are a good fit to work together.
Hey I’m Erin!
The clients who do best with me are the ones ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work. You don’t need previous therapy experience, but I’ll encourage you to apply what we discuss in session to your everyday life. If you’re just looking to vent or blame your partner, I might not be the right fit. The clients who see the most growth are the ones willing to work on their stuff and make changes. After all, if you’re part of the problem, you’re part of the solution, right? I can help you identify patterns, like bottling up your feelings or people-pleasing, and together, we’ll work on shifting those habits.
You’re probably here because things aren’t going the way you want. Life can be tough, and relationships can be even tougher. Maybe you’re stuck in the same arguments, resentment is building, or you’re worried things won’t change. You might also find yourself people-pleasing, avoiding tough conversations, or suppressing your needs just to keep the peace. You want to be able to truly relax, both with yourself and your partner.
I love to help people who feel disconnected and alone.
Part of why I’m so dedicated to the work of coming home to yourself and your partner is because I’ve had to do it myself. Letting yourself be truly seen by the people you care about isn’t easy—especially when your natural instinct is to avoid conflict and just go with the flow. I’ve been there.
Through both individual and couples therapy, I was able to break patterns that were holding me back and build stronger, more authentic relationships with the people who matter most to me. I know how tough it can be to make real changes—even when you’re committed. But trust me, it does get easier. The work is challenging, but it’s so worth it, and I’m here to support you through it.
I’m deeply passionate about the work of helping people reconnect to themselves and to their partners. Many of the clients I work with struggle with people-pleasing and patterns that prevent them from fully connecting with others. In relationships, it’s common for the fear of conflict or the habit of burying difficult feelings to get in the way of true connection.
How can someone truly know you if you’re not being open about what you’re actually feeling or thinking? I’ve worked with many couples and individuals to help break these patterns and create healthier, more authentic connections. It’s not always easy, but with some work, it’s possible to learn how to love yourself and let others love you in return. I’m here to help you do that, too.
Why work with me?
- As I have mentioned, I’m a major nerd for attachment and relationships. I dedicate a lot of time to reading, attending trainings, and seeking consultation to deepen my understanding of couples dynamics. While some therapists claim to specialize in couples therapy, it’s important to know that without a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy or specialized couples training, those claims may lack the right expertise. I have the credentials to back it up.
- I like to combine scientific approaches with space for faith in therapy. While I believe God can heal, I also think we’re called to do the work ourselves. We’ll focus on proven therapeutic methods while honoring your relationship with Jesus. Of course, if you’re not comfortable incorporating faith, that’s perfectly fine, too.
- I offer therapy sessions online or in-person one day a week at my office in Cincinnati, easily accessible right off I-275 in Sharonville.

Five Fun Facts
1) The majority of the day you can find me drinking coffee, tea, or some type of seltzer water as well as regular water from my “security water cup” with a big straw.
2) I live in a small town in Indiana with my husband and two toddler boys.
3) Rewatching shows is like a sport to me. I could quote you almost any scene from Friends or The Office any day of the week.
4) You might occasionally see my pets during an online session – a black cat named Franklin and a black lab named Mack. Seeing your pets during sessions online is one of my favorite parts of virtual therapy. So yes, please introduce me to your pets!
5) Claymation freaks me out. I do make an exception for Christmas-related claymation e.g. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
Things you can expect from me as your therapist
- I don’t take sides in couples therapy.
- I might interrupt you—not for fun, but to keep things on track and help you sit in those uncomfortable moments where change happens.
- We’ll laugh—because while I take my work seriously, I don’t take myself too seriously. Sometimes, we need a bit of lightness when discussing tough topics!
- I’ll expect you to do some work outside of session, whether it’s simply observing or practicing something we discussed.
- I’ll gently call you out if I notice something, like if you roll your eyes when your partner speaks or you redirect the conversation.
- I can’t wave a magic wand – therapy isn’t a quick fix—it’s a process. It usually takes 3-6 months (sometimes longer). The couples who see the most progress are those who show up consistently, work between sessions, and are committed to making changes rather than looking to me for all the solutions.
